■ Warm up by doing the language practice.
Hello, class. Turn to page 46. Read and study the five sentences in the box at the top of the page. Pay attention to the words in black.

■Turn the passages into a conversation.
On page 45 and page 46 there are three short passages. Now in groups of four try to turn them into three conversations. Act them out if time permits.

Turn to page 49. Let's go on to travel around the world by reading a short passage entitled Environmental groups.
