1. Compare the two sentences and find the differences between the attributive clause and the appositive clause.
The news that they won the match is true.
The news that they told me yesterday is true.
Sum up: ①定语从句对先行词起修饰限制作用；同位语从句具体说明它前面的名词内容。② that在定语从句中担任句子成分; that在同位语从句中不担任句子成分，不可省。
